I ordered this coat because I wanted something uniquely casual that wasn't black, puffy, or sporty. I wear a lot of tunics and long tops so I also needed a coat that was longer so my shirt wouldn't hang past my coat. This is perfect. It's not too short and not too long. I also love the collar's versatility, the color (boysenberry), and the fact that it is fairly warm without the bulk. I would say though that when it gets below about 20 degrees I will probably need something warmer, as it does not have an interior layer, just a nylon lining. If I had one complaint it would be that the buttons aren't sewn on very good and will more than likely have to reinforce them. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

Women's Pea Coat J.TOMSON Womens Double Breasted Hooded Coat Jacket With Pockets

5'3, 115, usually a S/XS, ordered a M - it's just a bit loose on me.

Positives: Warm and comfy while looking like a cute coat (as opposed to a slum-around-the-house sweatshirt). Surprisingly good quality - thick sweater material, very cleanly finished seams, and none of the buttons are loose. Did you know there's also a baby pocket with 2 compartments on the left arm?? Nice surprise.

Minor downsides: It's a bit loose on me - will try to shrink in the wash. The arms are also a bit bulkier than pictured, proportionately. Side pockets are shallower than typical - covers up to my thumb joint. The zipper over the right side pocket is purely decorative. Wish there was a button to keep the collars up in case my neck needs some extra protection, but perhaps that's what the string ties are intended for. While I'm at it, hood is also not as deep and luxurious as it could be.

I'm very happy overall though!!

It fit as expected because I ordered a medium, and I wear an XS or S. The fit in the arms is tight while I drive, so I probably should have ordered a large. However, this is the best coat I've ever bought. Great quality, gorgeous fit and color--I've had many compliments.

Women's Pea Coat Women's Belted Fleece Button Coat Check Hood Jacket

I am absolutely in love with this jacket. I ordered the Red Check XL and oh my goodness it fits prefect. I ordered a size up because I have a large chest area (D38) and a chubby tummy area, that could totally be gone if I worked to lose those 20lbs. I'm also 5"3 or 5"4.
(Just to give you guys an example, in case you have the same body type like me. Because these are the kinda of reviews I look for before buying something.)
But the jacket is adorable! I wasn't it expecting to be a plaid jacket though, but it was still beautifully made! The buttons are red and the stripes are black.
This jacket is a great buy, very very pleased.
Also it arrived 3weeks earlier than expected! And I placed my order last week!

I got the 3X, which is my size in almost all the shirts I wear, and I like my shirts roomy and loose. This jacket was too snug in the arms and across the chest; order at least one size up.

This jacket is fantastic for the price of less than $40 delivered. The material, while not wool, looks exactly like wool (at least the grey version of this jacket does) and it's very smooth and not stiff at all. It isn't fleece, but a good, textured faux wool. The lining extends through the arms and is a dark black and purple scroll pattern, very subtle I think. Although it does not fit, at this price I am keeping it for when I can fit into it.

this coat is beautiful - I love it. I typically wear a USA small/medium, but after READING the sizing chart (as the coat is from China, and their sizes are different (way smaller)), I went with a large. It fits just right - wish I would have gotten an XL so I could fit a sweatshirt under it. This coat gets me compliments almost every time I wear it, and it looks absolutely stunning. I'm very happy with my purchase. Also, it only took about a week to get here in the USA, while it was projected to take several weeks longer. Very happy all around.

Trust me, I was with my wife when she looked at peacoats in JCPenny's, Macy's and Kohl's. They were flimsy, unstructured coats made from cheap looking material. This was in the $100.00 range, which is where we intended to be. If we wanted to spend $200.00 plus, the coats were, commensurately, nicer. We looked on Amazon, and found this peacoat. It looks even better in person than on the internet, with a nice hand, good looking fabric and good tailoring. If you are tall, as is my wife, you will appreciate the fact that the sleeves are long enough, and it covers your rear. The size 14 was perfect for her at 5'9". It's a sharp looking coat.

When I received the jacket, it was a bit short and the sleeves don't sit quite right on my shoulders. It seems like the lazy plus size version of a modestly priced garment (they just made everything wider and didn't add length to sleeves or torso). So although the jacket looks okay, it's not very stylish or flattering. There are loose threads all over the place and expect to hear a few rips the first couple of times you put on the jacket. If the material pulls the slightest bit, the threads snap instantly. That being said, the jacket is very warm, fits decently, and I could see it lasting at least a couple of years, so this is pretty good for the price. It washes well (doesn't shrink), and the buttons are sturdy. The pockets are incredibly shallow and has a nonsensical button on each. I don't really use them or the sleeve pocket for that matter, but I guess that's supposed to make it look textured and cool. It mostly just adds bulk and makes you appear even wider. Also, the material is warm and soft but it's a magnet for hair/fuzz/lint. I use a roller on it every single day. Conclusion: this is an incredibly practical jacket at a really good price, but it's not great looking.
